Lady Gaga has been building the anticipation for her upcoming album "Born This Way" expected to release on May 23, 2011. With leaks of song lyrics, singles, and sneak peaks for fans at her Monster Ball world tour, Lady Gaga had seemed to be playing her marketing cards just right. Everyone knows that Lady Gaga is far from the ordinary and always goes over the top, so when the Mother Monster revealed the new cover for the much awaited album fans were let down with the cheap graphics, and strange Matillica twist that didn't seem relevant to the idea of what Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" really means. The Typography was mentioned by many fans twittering "low quality" and "unprofessional." The imagery on the cover is definitely out of the ordinary, but it looks like it belongs on an old 80's rock band CD, not one of the largest electro-pop princesses of this millennium. It's unknown what Lady Gaga's reactions were to her beloved fans, who she calls her "little monsters," but maybe Lady Gaga is up to something that is much larger than all of us right now. Even with this minor set back for Gaga, I still think she'll be entertaining and influencing the world one outfit, song lyric and performance after another, because Gaga was just simply...born that way.

Listen Up!:Minaj "Tragedy"

Nicki Minaj answered back to Lil Kim's Black Friday [explicit] on April 2nd, 2011 with a 1:09 minute snippet labelled "Tragedy." Minaj's response spit lines like "It must hurt to sell your album off PayPal," (stabbing at the fact Lil' Kim is a free-lance rapper with no contract to a record company), and "You was hot when Shaq teamed up with Penny [reference to Shaquil O'Niel and Penny Hardaway NBA Orlando Magic 1992], Man, you was magic!,I mean, look at you now, ho, you just tragic!" complementing Kim's past career as successful and now her attempt at reviving it is a pathetic failure. This "beef" between these two fierce female rappers has been building since the release of Nicki Minaj's CD "Pink Friday" on November 22, 2010 including the single called "Roman's Revenge," which Kim claimed took a direct aim at her personally and with that, there has been a running rivalry since. Some ask "when will it end?" and other ask if these extravagant forces will ever join...highly unlikely in my opinion, but who knows what the future entails!
